Connor regularly participates in industry events and conferences including the International Builders Show and JLC Live, where he shares insights on building science, constructability, and high performance building.

About

Connor Malloy is a professor of design and building at George Brown Polytechnic in Toronto and the founder of Supernormal Buildability Consultants.

His work focuses on the practical side of building performance. Through teaching, consulting, and industry collaboration, Connor works with builders, designers, and trades to translate design intent into details and assemblies that can be built efficiently and perform reliably on site.

 

Connor teaches hands-on studio courses at George Brown Polytechnic that explore building science, passive house methodology, and strategies for constructing buildings that perform well and support people of all abilities. He is also an instructor with Passive House Canada, where he teaches the Passive House Tradesperson course across Ontario.

 

Connor holds a Master of Interdisciplinary Design Strategy from the Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Dún Laoghaire, Ireland, and a Bachelor of Interior Design from Toronto Metropolitan University.
